The Snowfall Sonata
by Neil Janowitz

If roses are red
And violets are blue
I can't imagine
Any love so true

But bus rides like landslides
Are pulling us apart
Torturing my insides
And tearing at my heart

When school ends with a bell
Our love being so true
It's my own private hell
'Cause I have to leave you

And it's just not fair, this snow day
Keeping us apart, that's so gay

The flakes fall on my tongue
All I taste is our love
